Special Presentation (2025)

Special Presentation is a glimpse into the ongoing practice of the Studio, which emphasizes physicality, improvisation, and abstraction as tools for dramatic discovery. Each performance is wholly improvised, featuring a song from Bulgarian oral tradition and words by 19th-century poet Sarah Williams set to a canon melody by composer Joseph Haydn.
